The March issue tracks how the boundary between war and the civilian economy continues to dissolve, as private companies, global supply chains, and commercial infrastructure become both tools and targets.

In the March 2026 edition:

— Corporate Air Defense:
Private enterprises can now form their own air defense groups under military command.

— March Deep Strike Campaign:
Ukraine struck oil refineries, pipeline hubs, chemical plants, and defense-industrial facilities almost daily in March, contributing to an estimated 40% loss in Russia's oil export capacity.

— Russia Re-Flags Shadow Fleet Tankers:
In response to its increased detention cases, Russia is moving to re-register roughly 80 shadow fleet tankers under the Russian flag and placing former military personnel on board.

— The Fiber Crunch:
AI data centers and fiber-optic drone warfare are competing for the same supply, driving prices up 500–650% and doubling Ukrainian drone production costs.

— Antennas in the Treeline:
Both sides begin concealing communication nodes inside foam tree stumps to stay undetected on the drone-saturated battlefield.

— Russia's Starlink Alternative:
Bureau 1440 places the first 16 Rassvet satellites into orbit, but commercial service is not expected before 2027.

— Drone Interception at Range:
Ukraine downed Shaheds for the first time using remotely operated interceptors, with confirmed engagements at up to 500 km.

— Learning from Ukraine: Air Defense in the Gulf:
With specialists deployed to the Middle East, defense partnerships signed, and formal support requests received, Ukraine's battle-tested air defense doctrine is now a strategic export.
