The Snake Island Institute has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Special Forces Unit “Omega” of the National Guard of Ukraine — one of the most elite combat units operating on the front lines.
This partnership is built on trust, shared experience, and a common goal: to strengthen Ukraine’s defense.
The memorandum outlines a framework for sustained collaboration, including:
— sharing frontline insights and developments in Ukraine’s defense innovation sector,
— facilitating exchange visits: Ukrainian service members, medics, and innovators to the U.S.; American experts to Ukraine,
— supporting Ukrainian defense startups in building connections with foreign investors, foundations, and government institutions,
— field testing new technologies under combat conditions,
— joint media engagement to spotlight Ukrainian resilience and innovation.
The agreement was signed on June 19.
